Discover HSDC
Dance, Compete, and Shine
The High School Dance Competition (HSDC) is a premier platform where students come together to showcase their talent, creativity, and teamwork through a vibrant Bollywood freestyle format. Since 2015, HSDC has inspired schools across communities by providing an exciting opportunity for students to step beyond academics and experience the thrill of performing on a professional stage.
Participating in HSDC allows students to build confidence, develop leadership and collaboration skills, and express themselves creatively through dance. It fosters school pride, strengthens friendships, and creates lasting memories. For teachers and schools, it offers a meaningful way to promote student engagement, cultural appreciation, and co-curricular excellence.
Getting involved is simple and rewarding. Schools begin by registering and appointing a Team Manager and Student Leader. Students from Years 7–12 then form a team of 4–30 members. Together, they choreograph a 3–5 minute performance based on Bollywood music, prepare costumes and music tracks, and rehearse as a group. With support from the HSDC team, schools complete the required submissions and get ready for the event day.
HSDC is more than a competition—it’s a journey of growth, creativity, and celebration that empowers students to shine.
